MRP Discount Coupons ("the app") is provided by LunarCode ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app collects when a merchant installs it on a Shopify store, how we use it, and the choices merchants and their customers have.
To show coupon usage and savings in your dashboard, the app receives Shopify's orders/create, orders/paid and orders/cancelled webhooks. From each order that used one of your campaigns we store only: the order ID and order number, the Shopify customer ID, the coupon code used, and the products, prices and discount amounts involved.
We do not store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses or payment details. Discounts are applied at checkout by a Shopify Function that runs on Shopify's own infrastructure.
We use this information only to provide the app: to authenticate your store, create and manage discounts and coupon codes, calculate MRP-based prices, show usage statistics, apply plan limits, and provide support when you contact us. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or build profiles of your customers.
We do not share your data with third parties, except with the service providers needed to run the app: Shopify (the platform the app is built on) and Hostinger (our hosting provider). Data is stored on our dedicated server in Mumbai, India. We may disclose information if required by law.
All traffic to the app is encrypted with HTTPS. The database is not reachable from the internet, access to the server is restricted to authorised personnel using key-based authentication, and Shopify webhooks are verified before they are processed.
We keep your data for as long as the app is installed. When you uninstall the app, your store record, campaigns, coupon codes and usage records are deleted from our database immediately, and Shopify's shop/redact request confirms the deletion. Nightly database backups, stored on the same access-restricted server, are kept for 14 days, so deleted data is fully removed from backups within 14 days.
The app supports Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks.
customers/redact: we delete every usage record linked to that customer's ID.customers/data_request: we send the merchant the records we hold for that customer within 30 days.shop/redact: we delete all data for the store.Merchants can also access, correct or delete their data at any time by contacting us. If you are a customer of a store that uses the app, please contact that store first; we will help the store respond to your request.
Subscriptions are billed through Shopify. We never see or store your payment card or bank details.
The app is intended for businesses and is not directed at children.
We may update this policy when the app or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
